I'm working on being less of a generally negative b-i-t-c-h. My official goal is to 'find more joy in my life', but let's be realistic. I'm starting small by just listing a few things each day that didn't piss me off.
Some things that have brought a smile in the past few weeks:
-Lawrence getting a hit during his first at bat
-Finding super glue next to the bandaids in the bathroom, and letting Mike convince me he didn't need stitches as much as a new mountain bike (about the same cost...)
-watching Buried Alive (Hoarders) and thinking "well, at least I'm not that bad!"
-the return of my psuedo-soap opera - Make it or Break It
-having a printer in my office (now I almost never have to leave my chair!)
-making pumpkin brownies, or strawberry oatmeal waffles, or any of the other out-of-the-ordinary treats we've come to love
-throwing away the shower caddy - I seriously hated that thing
